Workshops
Bart DeCeglie will do a demo in the morning and will guide participants as they work on their own pictures in the afternoon.
Any medium may be used. A still life subject will be provided or work may be done from photos.
Bart will be happy to critique one or two previously finished paintings for each participant.
Where:
St. Raymond's School cafeteria, 263 Atlantic Ave., East Rockaway on the corner of Grant Avenue. Parking is available in the school yard in front and in back of the cafeteria.
When:
June 4, 2011, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Cost:
A fee of $30.00 is payable on the day of the workshop. CASH ONLY, please.

You do not need to be a member of the St. Raymond's Art Club to participate.
Bring your own supplies and lunch.

Members' News
Martha Horman's beaded necklace, Fig Leaves Are Passé, was juried into the "Reclaiming Eden" Show at the Art League of Long Island. The juror was Cornelia Seekel, the publisher of ART TIMES and a member of National Association of Women Artists, the Salmagundi Club, the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, and the Society of the Silurians.
The show opens to the public on Sunday, May 15, , and continues until Sunday, June 12, 2011, in the Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery at ALLI.
The Reception for the artists is Friday, May 27, 5:30 to 7:30 PM, in the Gallery. Martha will be there.
